Heat Wave 2020 February Brass Audition Camp

 PLEASE ONLY PAY THE AUDITION FEE ONCE! Contracted members are expected to have made their initial membership payment before the start of the camp or during check in. 

This audition camp will start at 8am on Saturday, Jan 4 at Champions World Resort in Kissimmee, FL. All applicants will be staying overnight and the camp will end at approximately 6pm on Sunday. Heat Wave will provide lunch, dinner, and a snack on Saturday, with breakfast and lunch on Sunday.

Participants should bring their instruments or any equipment, if possible, as corps’ instruments and equipment may be limited during audition camps. Participants should bring two pairs of comfortable athletic shoes, an air mattress, sleeping gear, a towel, any personal toiletries needed, a water jug, any medications that need to be taken, and any other equipment you will need for the weekend. Participants will be staying in a hotel room with up to three other participants of the same gender and age group.

This camp is just for our brass players. Percussionists and color guard members should submit a video audition and plan on joining us at camp in April.

If this is your first camp, you must bring all of the member info forms filled out with you to camp. You can find these forms online at www.heat-wave.org/register. If you are under 18 at the time of the camp, you must have a parent/guardian signature on all of the forms.

Housing will not be provided on Friday night. Anyone interested in reserving a room at the hotel on Friday night may do so using the Heat Wave group rate by calling the hotel. Parents/family/friends are welcome to use this code to reserve a room on Saturday night as well.

More information will be emailed out to all Heat Wave applicants prior to the camp.
